Challenge Accepted!

We spend so much time on the sidelines cheering on our fellow student-athletes as they compete, but now it’s our turn to take center stage.

The National College Cheerleading Championship is just four months away, and our team is working hard both in the gym and through fundraising efforts to earn the opportunity to represent Misericordia University on the national stage in January 2027.

To bring our entire roster and coaching staff to the championship, we anticipate approximately $80,000 in travel and competition expenses. That’s a big goal—but if there’s one thing this team knows how to do, it’s rise to a challenge.
Beginning now, our athletes are launching our Friends and Family Sponsorship Campaign, a 10-day fundraising effort that kicks off our fall fundraising season. Each athlete has been challenged to connect with the friends, family members, mentors, and fans who have supported them throughout their athletic careers and share the opportunity to invest in this championship journey.

The support we receive over the next 10 days will help make our dream of competing at Nationals a reality and allow our athletes to showcase their hard work, dedication, and talent on one of the biggest stages in collegiate cheerleading.
So buckle up, friends and fans—this team is competitive, determined, and never afraid of a big goal. We can’t wait to see what we can accomplish together.
