Forces work in opposites so if you lose traction with the ground you will tend to slip away from the expected movement direction.

Beware ball below the feet 🚨
when the ball is below your feet, you have to be careful aiming left, which is traditionally the recommendation for this situation. Although the face is likely making the ball go right, the club can grab the ground, which will make the ball go left and it is harder to move your body, which can make the club flip at impact. I recommend a safe alignment in the middle of the green and will then play a slightly smaller swing/take one extra club.

Lip out drill
practicing short putts isn’t the most interesting of tasks so it is very easy to lose concentration, this lip out drill; deliberately hitting short parts with the aim of horseshoeing the result, although at face value seems counterintuitive can be a good way to make the task more interesting, actually takes precision and focus to achieve the goal! You’ll also realize how hard it is to actually lip out, ironically holing more than you miss.

Adding weight to the handle to lower swing weight. A lower swing weight should help the feel of the club and shift dispersion to the left.

Inside takeaway is 😵❌😭
When looking at your movement, whether short game or long game please appreciate one element away from desirable usually needs an opposing element.
Having the club slightly inside at face value doesn’t seem like a big issue however, my experience would suggest this small error needs/creates more substantial error later in the movement.

Speed training is working 💪🏼💪🏼
Really happy with the progress I’m making with driver! My golf season starts in a few weeks and feel the cruising speed with the driver is now in the window it needs to be, for the opportunities I was intending from better health and speed protocols. Going to be fun off the tee this year 🙌🏻

Inside takeaway creates pitch shot misses to the right.
I find in short game, the orientation of both the shaft, and/or the face tends to have a direct correlation with where the ball goes, far more significantly than in the full swing, where lots of other elements can offset this for either the good or bad.
For short game I’m not a fan of an inside takeaway for any golfer profile and this can create loss of direct control as shown here or complete loss of contact.

Shortening my 9 wood 🪚
Love this time of year, season about to start so making small adjustments to the equipment. I swapped the shafts in my 7 and 9 wood so cutting off an inch here to reorder the lengths. This club is carrying 220y so replacing the 4 iron, potentially 5!

Performance or fashion?? 😎
Got to say I do love my mini driver and finding it a more reliable option as my fairway finder compared to a traditional 3 wood. Having said that I do love the headcover also 🤪🤣😳
Would you or do you game a mini driver?
