Hailing from the vibrant musical landscape of Augusta, Georgia, musical journey began surrounded by the rich, soulful sounds that define his hometown, which is deeply rooted in blues, enriched by soul, jazz, and funk’s intricate rhythms.
Seeking further musical inspiration and growth, Caleb made a pivotal move to New Orleans, a city renowned for its lively music scene and cultural richness. Immersed in the city’s vibrant and diverse atmosphere, he found new dimensions in his music that were cultivated after taking over the guitar position for renowned singer, John Boutté. The sounds and stories of New Orleans have infused his work with a layer of depth, seamlessly blending the city’s trademark jazz and funk styles with his own soulful origins. This transition to New Orleans allowed Caleb to explore the intersection of tradition and innovation, breathing new life into his performances.
Caleb confidently navigates the spaces between genres, weaving together stories with his guitar that resonate with emotional sincerity and technical sophistication. His music becomes a narrative rich in heritage yet refreshingly innovative, showcasing his ability as a dynamic performer and a storyteller of sound.
In every note and phrase, Caleb Tokarska embodies the soul of Georgia and the vibrant energy of New Orleans. With his unique take on the “Southern Sound”, each performance guides the audience through an evocative musical landscape. As Caleb continues his journey, he upholds Augusta’s storied legacy while embracing the kaleidoscopic inspiration of New Orleans, carving his own path in the ever-evolving world of music.

First things first, the CNPY Cafe has new summer arrivals: the Blueberry Pie Latte, S'mores Cookies from , Sourdough Cinnamon Rolls from , and Lavender Dream & Sunset's Kiss added to our mocktail menu.
Once you grab your treat and drink of choice, head downstairs to check out the .comedy crew on Friday, 5/29 as they bring their monthly showcase featuring comedians from all over the Peach State. And on Saturday, 5/30, & bring their Alabama Blues to our speakeasy for the first time as part of their Gypsy Candlesticks Neverending Tour.
