What if your anxiety, perfectionism, or constant need to keep everything together is quietly affecting your intimacy, relationships, and ability to truly relax? ❤️
I’m so excited to share my recent conversation on The Balanced, Beautiful & Abundant Show with the wonderful Rebecca Whitman! 🎙️✨ We dive into the fascinating connection between your nervous system, emotional well-being, desire, and intimacy—and how understanding your body can completely change the way you experience relationships.
As a licensed therapist, AASECT-certified s*x therapist, and board-certified coach, I share practical tools to help you regulate stress, reconnect with your body, and let go of the shame and pressure that can interfere with connection and pleasure.
We also explore what it really means to be a Highly Sensitive Person, why perfectionism and people-pleasing can impact intimacy, and how couples can navigate differences in desire with more compassion, communication, and understanding.
If you’ve ever felt like your mind is constantly “on,” struggled to relax into intimacy, or wondered why anxiety seems to follow you into your relationships, this conversation will give you a whole new perspective.
🎧 Listen now and discover how regulating your nervous system can transform the way you connect, love, and experience intimacy,
Because deeper intimacy doesn’t begin with doing more…
It begins with feeling safe enough to truly be present. ✨

Perfectionism doesn’t always look like having everything perfectly put together. Sometimes, it looks like procrastinating, overthinking the smallest details, avoiding something new, or constantly feeling like what you’ve done still isn’t “good enough.”
When the fear of getting it wrong starts keeping you from starting at all, it may be worth asking: Am I striving for growth, or am I expecting perfection?
You don’t have to do everything perfectly for it to be worth doing. 🌿

Great intimacy doesn’t have to look like the movies. 🤍
There’s a lot of pressure around what a “good” intimate relationship is supposed to look like — effortless chemistry, always being in the mood, perfect communication, and everything happening naturally.
But real relationships are human. Desire can change, connection can look different from day to day, and sometimes the expectations we carry into our relationships create more pressure than connection.
In our newest blog, we’re sharing 3 tips for creating more realistic expectations around intimacy so you can focus less on what you think should be happening and more on what actually feels meaningful for you and your relationship.
