On July 22, the world observes World Brain Day. At Bio Ability, our Adaptive Gymnastics and Adaptive Fitness programs are designed to not only build strength but also to actively support brain health. Various exercises and movements stimulate different areas of the brain. Our classes will help children with special needs to enhance their motor skills, improve their mood and focus, and build confidence. Disability Pride Month is observed every July to mark the anniversary of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) signing in 1990. At Bio Ability, Disability Pride Month represents a perpetual state of mind, guiding our approach to delivering adaptive gymnastics and exercise classes that address the unique needs and goals of each individual we serve.

On June 30, we observe Arthrogryposis Awareness Day, a rare condition marked by multiple joint contractures at birth. Those affected are frequently strong, capable individuals who merit full access to movement, fitness, and independence. My name is Jennifer Conner. I have been married to my husband, Hank for 33 years. I am a mom to two adult sons and daughter. I am also a fur mom to two dogs and four cats.
I have been a teacher for 33 years, working mostly with preschool children. My experience includes working with neurotypical children as well as children with special needs. I have a passion for seeing children of all abilities be able to do their best and enjoy being a child! I have spent the last twelve years working as a Preschool Music Teacher at First Baptist Cu***ng. In my spare time I enjoy reading, bird watching, and traveling with my family. My favorite vacation spot is Amelia Island, FL.

Students pursuing Special Education, Elementary Education, Physical Education, Child Development, Exercise Science, and related fields are encouraged to apply.
