I am not quite sure how to write this, so I am just going to say it.

After years of building, teaching, and pouring everything I had into this community, Nurtured Soul Studios group classes are closing on May 27.
This was not an easy decision. As I move through the final and most demanding stretch of my graduate program in Yoga Therapy and Ayurvedic Medicine, something has to give. To finish this degree the way it deserves to be finished and to fully show up for my yoga therapy clients, I need to give everything I have to that work this summer.

Honestly, this is where I am meant to be. The one-on-one clinical work is the deepest, most meaningful work I have ever done. Closing the studio doors opens the space for more of it.

To everyone who has ever shown up, breathed, moved, and trusted me with their body and their time, thank you. You are part of why this next chapter means so much.
The work is not ending. It is evolving.

We did it… again!
Nurtured Soul Studios is officially one of the Best of the Fox 2025 Winners for YOGA our second win in three years.

Our first award came in 2023, less than six months after joining the Crystal Lake community. Since then, this little studio of soul work, somatics, and science has turned into something truly special.

We have grown into a safe sanctuary that blends movement, mindfulness, and mental health, where nervous systems regulate, boundaries hold firm, laughter is medicine, and every class feels like therapy for your mind and body.

Inside these four cream-painted walls, you will find:
• Yoga that meets you where you are, not where you “should” be.
• Barre that builds strength without punishment.
• Somatic practices that teach you to move with your body, not against it.
• Teachers who are trauma-informed, heart-driven, and damn good at what they do.

This 8-week journey is built on Ayurvedic principles, nervous system science, and trauma-informed yoga therapy. It’s a full-spectrum approach that addresses every layer of who you are mind, body, and soul.

Each week combines evidence-based practices (like breathwork shown to shift your body into parasympathetic calm), Ayurvedic wisdom (chakras as an energetic map of health and balance), and multi-sensory tools (movement, sound, scent, ritual) to create lasting integration.

It’s specifically designed to meet you where you are. Whether you have never touched a yoga mat or you have not practiced for years, or you have no clue what a chakra is, you will be guided step-by-step into practices that are both safe and powerful.
