Hello! My name is Charla Conroy. I am a 38-year-old wife, mother, and passionate volleyball enthusiast. My husband and I have been happily married for 13 years, and together we are raising four wonderful children.

Growing up, I was always very athletic and developed a love for sports at an early age. While I enjoy all sports, volleyball has truly captured my heart. After coaching my daughter’s recreational volleyball team for the past two years, I quickly became a dedicated fan of the game and discovered a passion for helping young athletes grow both on and off the court.

I am honored to join the CTX Regulators as an Assistant Coach for the 17U team. My goal is to encourage young girls to embrace their athletic abilities, build confidence, and experience the joy that comes from learning and playing a sport they love. While I may still be growing in my volleyball journey, I am committed to creating a positive, supportive environment where every player can develop their skills, work hard, and have fun.

I look forward to helping each athlete reach their potential and making lasting memories throughout the season.

Hey everyone! Im so excited to be part of the CTX Regulators!

I was in the Air Force for 20 years after high schol and then I taught High School Junior ROTC (its like a military style class) for 21 years at Cooper HS in Abilene, hence the name "Sarge". I actually lived in Brownwood the last 4 years I was teaching so I drove back and forth every day 🤪. I retired from teaching at the end of the 24-25 school year and now I work for the City of Brownwood in Community Facilities.

I picked up volleyball while in the military and then acted as a volunteer coach at Cooper. I aslo coached in the "Rising Stars" league (developmental) at AYSA in Abilene. I love the sport, but more importantly I love pouring into kids, which is something I miss from my teaching days.

I am so looking forward to this new adventure with the CTX Regulators! I met Coach Stelzer when I started playing with the adults at Early Primary and very quickly learned what a dynamic leader she was so I didn't hesitate when she invited me to be a part of the team.

My wife Jennifer and I like spending time at home and hanging out with our grandkids (6, 3 and 10 months old)!

Hello, my name is Teeghan Meyer, a Cisco College and Merkel High School Alumni. I’m currently attending Tarleton State University for a Bachelor’s of Kinesiology with a long term goal for my Master’s in Athletic Training. I’m also now CTX Regulator’s 14U’s head coach and the 15U’s assistant coach!

I’ve played volleyball for last 4 years, 2 years of varsity, and 1 season of club. I ended up receiving 2 college offers at the end of my club season but I decided to turn them down to continue my education. Even though my volleyball career might’ve ended I wanted to continue my passion for the game!

I’m very excited for this season, all the new faces and new bonds. I hope to inspire athletes just like my previous coaches did with me!

Fun fact: I’m also a Certified Nursing Aide and love helping out where I can!

Regulate the game!!! 🩷🩵
