One of the most unique IMCA SportMod events of the season is almost here! For two nights only, the IMCA SportMods go TOPLESS as drivers remove the roof, sail panels, and pillars to showcase these cars like you've never seen them before! Spoilers may remain on the car, and all other IMCA and Cottage Grove Speedway rules will apply.
All cars must be registered with IMCA and at Cottage Grove Speedway
Friday Night will be a standard Cottage Grove Payout

SportMod Format - Friday
• Group Qualifying
• Heat races lined up with a 6-car invert from qualifying
• A Main lineup determined by heat race finishes
• Fast qualifier will draw the invert chip after the final heat race
💥 General Admission is just $5 per person Friday!
⏰ Friday Schedule:
• Pit Gates: 3:00 PM
• Spectator Gates: 5:00 PM
• Hot Laps & Qualifying: 6:30 PM
• Racing: 7:00 PM

SportMod Format
• Top 10 in Friday night's points compete in a 10-lap Scramble to set the first 10 starting positions for the A Main.
• Scramble lineup determined by random draw.
• Ties broken by Friday night's A Main finish.
• Remaining drivers race heats based on Friday night's points:
• 11th in points starts on the pole of Heat 1
• 12th in points starts on the pole of Heat 2, and so on.
• Heat winners line up directly behind the Top 10:
• Heat 1 winner starts 11th
• Heat 2 winner starts 12th, etc.
There will be a 21st starter drawn at random after the B Main
• Format subject to change based on car count and time.
Points Breakdown - For Format only, not season standings
• Qualifying: 20 points descending by 1
• Heat Races: 10 points descending by 1
• Main Event: 50 points descending by 2
• B Main non-transfers: Start at 10 points, descending by 1
Important: Both nights are IMCA sanctioned, but ONLY Saturday night's event will count toward IMCA Track, State, Regional, and National points.
