A lot can change in a year when you keep showing up for yourself đź’™

This week, we are celebrating Christina!

Over the past year, she has:

👏🏼 Reduced her body fat by 6.3%
👏🏼 Dropped 2 visceral fat levels
👏🏼 Maintained her muscle mass
👏🏼 Continued getting stronger

But what we love most about Christina’s progress is everything that had to happen in between those numbers.

She’s a mom, she works full time, and her work weeks can be demanding. There are plenty of weeks where fitting in a workout would be really easy to push to tomorrow.

And we think that’s what makes this worth sharing.

Christina didn’t get a less demanding job or more hours in her day. She just kept making room for herself in the middle of all of it.

Some weeks probably looked better than others. Some workouts were probably easier to get to than others. But over the course of a year, she kept coming back 🥹

And now we get to look at the bigger picture.

She’s lost body fat and visceral fat while maintaining her muscle, AND getting stronger. That’s a pretty awesome year of work.

So if you are waiting for work to calm down, the kids to need you less, or life to finally give you a little more time, remember that a year is going to pass either way.

Start with the time you have.

Christina, we are so proud of you. Keep going!! 💪🏼💙

You probably have a pretty good idea of what a busy day looks like.

You get up, get yourself moving, get through work, answer messages, sit in meetings, handle whatever gets thrown at you, squeeze in a workout if you can, and then try to be present for the people waiting for you at home.

And somewhere in the middle of all of that, you're expected to make good decisions, stay focused, communicate well, and perform at a high level.

The problem isn't necessarily that you don't have enough time.
It's that you don't have the same capacity at every hour of the day.
An open hour at 9 AM might look exactly like an open hour at 4 PM on your calendar. But you're not necessarily bringing the same version of yourself to those two hours.

Your focus may be different. Your physical readiness may be different. Your patience may be different. Your ability to handle a difficult decision or push through a challenging workout may be different.

Yet most of us schedule our lives as if none of that matters.

Not every win is measured in pounds, reps, or PRs.

This week, we are celebrating Ronđź’™

Ron recently completed cancer treatment and is now in remission. Through an incredibly challenging season, we had the privilege of continuing to see his smile, his positivity, and the effort he brought with him every time he walked through our doors.

And that’s what we want to celebrate today.

And yes, there have been physical changes along the way too. Looking back at Ron a year ago, you can see them. But today, those changes mean something different. This isn’t simply a before-and-after. It’s a reminder of just how much can happen in a year, and how much strength can be built along the way.

Because there will be seasons in life when your normal routine isn’t possible. Your capacity may change. What you can give may look different. And that’s okay.

Taking care of yourself during those seasons doesn’t have to mean doing everything you used to do. Sometimes it simply means continuing to do what you can.

We talk a lot about building a strong and resilient body for the years ahead. This is part of the reason why.

Ron, we’re incredibly happy that you’re in remission, and we’re so grateful to have your positivity filling the studio again and again!

This week, the win is YOU. đź’™

There’s something pretty powerful about realizing you can do something today that you couldn’t do a few months ago 💪🏼

This week we’re celebrating Debbie for hitting a new PR on her hamstring curl!

👏🏼 12 reps at 70 lbs
👏🏼 6 reps at 80 lbs

This is one of the reasons we track strength with our members.

Progress doesn’t always show up as a lower number on the scale or a change you can immediately see in the mirror. Sometimes it’s another rep. More weight. Better control. Or suddenly realizing that something that used to feel really hard… doesn’t anymore.

Those numbers give us something measurable to look back on and say, “I am stronger than I was.”

And that strength matters far beyond the gym.

Debbie, congratulations on another PR! We see the work you continue to put in, and we LOVE getting to celebrate moments like this with you đź’™

Keep going!!

A little behind the scenes at Recoup đź‘€

Every day, our team comes together on the floor for 15 minutes. You can stretch, sit, move around… but we’re all there together.

Each day has a different topic. Sometimes we’re learning something new. Sometimes we’re diving deeper into coaching, programming or the client experience. And sometimes we’re going back to the basics because doing the basics exceptionally well matters too.

It’s 15 minutes dedicated to learning, growing, asking questions, sharing what we’re seeing and continually finding ways to get better.

We believe being a great coach means never being done learning.

This is one of the many things that happens behind the scenes at Recoup that our members may not always see, but absolutely experience đź’™

Most people step off the InBody and look at one thing first.

The scale.

If it's down, they feel successful. If it isn't, they assume they're not making progress.

Here's what the scale can't tell you: what actually changed.

We've had members whose weight barely moved, but their visceral fat decreased. That's a huge win because visceral fat is the fat that surrounds your organs and is closely tied to your long-term health. It's one of the reasons we look beyond the number on the scale during your InBody review.

The next time you check your progress, don't just ask, "Did I lose weight?"

Ask, "Is my body becoming healthier?"

Sometimes the biggest victories are the ones you can't see.

What if something you’ve believed about yourself for years… isn’t actually true?

💭 “I’ve never been consistent with exercise.”

💭 “My schedule is too demanding.”

💭 “I am too out of shape.”

💭 “At my age, it’s just harder to change.”

And the interesting thing is, most of them don’t feel like excuses.

They feel like facts. You’ve repeated them for so long that they’ve simply become part of the way you describe yourself.

But they don’t have to stay true.

💪🏼 We’ve watched people who struggled to stay consistent for years become the ones who rarely miss a workout.

👏🏼 We’ve watched people with demanding schedules learn how to make their training fit into their lives instead of waiting for life to slow down.

🙌🏻 We’ve watched people walk through our doors feeling completely out of shape and, little by little, become stronger and more confident in what their body can do.

🤩 And we’ve watched clients in their 40s, 50s, and beyond prove to themselves that getting older doesn’t mean you have to stop getting stronger.

It doesn’t happen because they suddenly become more disciplined.

They start doing something differently, repeat it often enough, and eventually what once felt completely unlike them becomes part of who they are.

We’ve seen it happen too many times to believe you’re simply “stuck this way.”

Sometimes you just need the right plan, the right environment, and enough opportunities to prove something different to yourself đź’™

Working hard but still not feeling your best? McKenna’s story might sound familiar👏🏼

When McKenna first came to Recoup 3 months ago, she was already putting in the effort. She was doing a lot of cardio and was very intentional about choosing healthy foods. But the way she was training and eating wasn’t necessarily supporting what her body needed.

So we started with our ReNew You Diagnostic to understand where she was starting and where we could better focus all of that effort.

We decreased the amount of cardio she was doing and introduced consistent strength training. With her nutrition, we actually had her eat more. We calculated her protein needs, added another meal into her day, and increased her overall portions to better support her training and day-to-day life.

And then McKenna did what McKenna does. She put in the work.

Over the past 3 months, she has added 4 pounds of skeletal muscle mass while also losing body fat. 💪🏼 But just as importantly, she’s building confidence in a daily routine that supports her, and learning what it feels like to fuel and train her body differently.

And she’s done it all with the BEST attitude. She’s consistent inside and outside of the studio, willing to learn, and always brings such positive energy through our doors.

McKenna, we’re so proud of you and everything you’ve accomplished already!

And we hope her story resonates with anyone who feels like they’re doing all the “right” things and putting in the effort, but still doesn’t feel their best. You may not need to work harder. You may simply need to focus that effort differently.

Keep going, McKenna. We’re just getting started! 💙

This is what getting stronger while losing weight looks like 👏🏼

Today we’re celebrating Renee and an absolutely incredible 8 months of progress!

Since the beginning of 2026, Renee has lost over 30 pounds and 13.3% body fat, while maintaining every pound of her skeletal muscle mass. She’s also cut her visceral fat in half and become significantly stronger along the way 🥹

But what we’re most proud of is how she got here.

Renee came into this year ready to make a change, but instead of trying to figure everything out on her own, she asked for help. Together, we created a plan that worked with her schedule, helped her understand what her body needed, and gave her the structure and accountability to keep moving forward.

And she did the rest. She showed up. She learned. She stayed consistent. And month after month, we got to watch all of that work add up🤩

Because losing weight is great, but being lighter was never the only goal.

We want Renee strong enough to do everything she loves today, and still be doing those things for many, many years to come. To travel. To keep up with the people she loves. To feel confident in what her body can do. And to continue walking into every chapter of her life feeling strong and capable.

And we would love to mention one more thing... Renee also happens to be Stevie’s mom 💙 Getting to have one of our own families be part of the RECOUP family, and getting to help her become stronger, healthier, and more confident in what her body can do has been pretty incredible🙏🏽

Renee, we couldn’t be more proud of you. Your consistency, willingness to learn, and commitment to yourself have been incredible to watch! 💪🏼💙
