This weekend, our bunkhouse that Dale Robbins was living in at our place caught fire. It has been a heartbreaking few days.
Dale lost everything he owned, including his World Champion belt buckle and so many other priceless memories and possessions. Our family also used the bunkhouse, and we lost most of Chaser's youth posters, pictures, back numbers, buckles, and many other keepsakes collected over the years. Our 6-horse red Bloomer trailer was damaged, and our four-wheeler was also lost in the fire.
Even in the midst of this loss, we have so much to be thankful for. No lives were lost, and all of the animals are safe. We have also been able to recover a few precious items, including my late father's belt and belt buckle, which means more than words can express.
Unfortunately, insurance isn’t covering our lose or Dale’s. We are helping collect donations for Dale as he begins to rebuild after losing everything. We have already been overwhelmed by the kindness and generosity of so many people in the cutting horse community who have reached out to offer support, prayers, and help.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you. Your love and generosity mean the world to our family and to Dale. We truly appreciate every prayer, message, and act of kindness during this difficult time. ❤️
