Congratulations to CCGC and Nueces 4H Trap and S***t Club members Bryson Bressler and Wyatt Alvarado for their perfect 100 score in the 12 gauge at the Pan American shoot at the Dallas Gun Club. After a shoot off with 9 other perfect 100s Bryson won 12 Gauge Champ and Wyatt received runner up (2nd).
Our sporting clay course and five stand will be closed on Saturday August 22 as we prepare for the National Sporting Clays Association and TSCA - Texas Sporting Clays Assoc event on Sunday August 23. All s***t and trap fields will be open on Saturday; on Sunday s***t field 5 will not be open so that it does not interfere with Five Stand Field One, the other s***t and trap fields will be open Sunday. On Sunday the sporting course will only be open to those shooters registered in the shoot. To pre-register go to Scorechaser.com. Those pre-registered by this evening will have their names entered into a drawing for a paid entry in the main event.
The sporting clay course will close early at 6:00 pm on Thursday August 13 so we can finish the prep work for the Coastal Bend Homebuilders Assoc. Shoot on Friday morning August 14.

A new sporting clay fundraiser this year is "Clays on The Bay" for Special Olympics. October 31, 2026. 100 sporting clay targets (mulligans also available). For more info and to pre-register scan the QR code in the flyer:
We are a host club for the 2026 IZone VI NSSA S***t Championship which starts next Friday 8/7 through 8/9. We are one of five clubs in the five state zone VI hosting the shoot. If you want to participate in this shoot here at CCGC you will need to pre-register at https://is***t.org/isreg/index.php no later than Monday at 5:00 pm so we can have adequate referees scheduled. There is no guarantee there will be open spots for shooters to walk up the day of the shoot. Please pre-register no later then Monday 5:00 pm if you want a guaranteed spot. Thank you

As an update I missed that Bryson Bresler had placed Jr. 3rd in the Champ of Champs event at the Junior World. Here is a picture of both at the 2026 Junior World S***t Championship. Congrats again guys for the great shooting!

Wyatt took HOA for the sub Jr. concurrent as well as Sub Junior Champ for doubles, 12 and 410 events, sub junior runner up in 28 and 3rd in 20.
Bryson also turned in good scores in the junior concurrent. The difference between placing can be a matter of one or two targets in the older age group. He was 5th in the 12 ga event.
