🎾School has finally started and if you squint really hard, Fall is just around the corner! Our next Junior Tournament will be played at Tuloso-Midway High School courts on September 12 & 13th! Find links to sign up on our website at: www.cctaonline.org under tournaments! This is a Level 6 tournament, so it is a Two Day tournament with Full Matches (2 out of 3 sets, w a 10pt tie break for the 3rd). Deadline is September 6th!

Y'all hear "Combo" and immediately gotta Whatasize it! 🤣 More than half of the matches today went to a third set tiebreaker -- in THIS HEAT! Hopefully everyone is hydrating up and ready for Day 2! See y'all tomorrow at H-E-B Tennis Center Corpus Christi. -- bh

It was a great weekend for the Corpus Christi Tennis Association! Just shy of 600 players braved the August Heat! Thank You to the Corpus Christi Sports Commission for being a great sponsor and help in prepping for this weekend.

It's that last week push to Little State! The ladies seem to be keeping it together (yay!), but life has hit a few of my out of town men's teams. If you are are able to play Little State this weekend, I would greatly appreciate it! Those who played at sectionals this past weekend cannot play in Little State at the same level...If you played 3.0 at sectionals, you can play UP (3.5) at Little State, but not the same level.
