🎣 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN TO EVERYONE

For 2026, Entry fees will be based on qualification status:

🏆 Qualified Divisional Team — $3,000
🎣 Non-Qualified Team — $4,000

ALL teams — qualified or non-qualified — must complete the online Team Registration Form available on the PRL website. ONE form per team is required.

Payment may be submitted online, or teams can coordinate with the PRL an alternate payment method such as Venmo or other available options.

⛔️ Please note: If an alternate payment method results in processing, insurance, or other fees being charged to PRL, the team will be responsible for the same convenience fee applied to online registration payments.

🏆 2026 REDFISH WORLD SERIES FORMAT

📍 Launch & Weigh-In Location:
Roberts Point Park Pavilion & Marina
301 J.C. Barr Blvd.
Port Aransas, TX 78373

DAY 1 — WEDNESDAY, SEPTEMBER 23

🎣 Up to 3 fish, 20–28 inches

Teams must weigh in a minimum of one fish and may weigh a maximum of three.

If a team zeros on Day 1, they are still permitted to fish Day 2, but may bring in a maximum of 4 fish on Day 2.

🚤 Release order: Boat number low to high

DAY 2 — THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 24

🎣 Up to 4 fish, 20–28 inches

If a team weighs one fish on Day 1 and has no other fish bumped on Day 1, they may weigh a maximum of four fish on Day 2.

🚤 Release order: Reverse boat number

Days 1 & 2 are cumulative weight. Placement will be converted to points and added to regular-season Divisional points to determine the Divisional Team of the Year.

⚠️ CUT AFTER DAY 2:
Any team that has not fulfilled its five (5) legal 20–28” slot fish bag during the first two days will be eliminated and will not advance to Day 3.

DAY 3 — FRIDAY, SEPTEMBER 25

🎣 Up to 3 fish, 20–28 inches

🔥 WEIGHTS RESET TO ZERO.

🚤 Release by standing order.

After Day 3, the Top 20% of the overall field advances to the FINAL DAY.

Examples:
• 24 teams → 5 advance
• 30 teams → 6 advance
• 36 teams → 7 advance

DAY 4 — SATURDAY, SEPTEMBER 26

🏆 CHAMPIONSHIP DAY

🎣 Up to 4 fish, 20–28 inches

🔥 WEIGHTS RESET TO ZERO AGAIN.

🚤 Release by standing order.

The remaining teams will battle it out on the final day for the 2026 PRL Redfish World Series Championship.

The 2026 PRL Redfish World Series will be held in memory of our dear friend and fellow tournament angler, James Alexander.

James was an incredible part of the fishing community, and we are honored to carry his memory with us throughout this year’s World Series.

We look forward to bringing everyone together in Port Aransas for four days of competition, camaraderie, and remembering a great friend.

Texas Southeast Division TOY Standings after event #2

Congrats to Team KBE Lea Anne P. & Casey Montanio on their second win of the season, and taking home the TOY for the Ladies PRL Ladies Division this past Sunday on stop #3 for the Ladies. They had 12.76 # bag for their (2) fish, and also Big Fish 6.38 #.

Coming in second was Team Betco Tish Poindexter & Becky Luna with their (2) fish bag of 11.09 # , this team maybe the First Ladies Team to fish the RWS this year too!

Rounding out the Top #3 was Team Thump & Grind Ryanne Connorty & Maegen Ledger with their 8.46 # bag.
