FREE TIPS for Día de los mu***os makeup. Yes. Dia de los mu***os is coming and many will wear CATRINA makeup also known as SUGAR SKULL makeup.

This are some points or tips to wear this makeup without ruining your clothes and making your makeup last and look great while you dance and enjoy the Día de los Mu***os tradition.

You can make a party with your kids. Have fun painting your face. It could be a fun evening.

We often do workshops in October.

But we hope this tips get you headed in the right direction and you and your family have fun with a sugar skull makeup project.

Leyenda Ballet Folklorico is celebrating 21 years of providing shows all over Southern California. We have graced so many stages from birthdays to mega Galas and music videos, commercials, etc.

We are in CORONA and also in LAKE FOREST and with a small commitment of once a week 2 hour class you can learn ballet folklorico and perform in amazing places.

Ages: 8 to 60 years old because we have kids team, teenagers, young adults team, and adults who always wanted to dance and now it is their time to pursue a dream hobby that gives them fitness, culture and community.

I was born and raised and trained in folklorico in Mexico. I been dancing 47 years. I have experience teaching people from 8 years old to 60 years old. (We have different age group teams in our group)

Our Ballet folklorico dance students learn dances from various regions of Mexico and perform in:
* FESTIVALS

* GALAS
* RECITAL
* CONCERTS

AGE: We recommend kids 7 yrs to 12 years old.

We also have other classes for different AGE categories including. •

* Pre teen
* Teens
* Young adults
* ADULTS 30 to 58 years old in with you can see many moms and dads or single adults who love culture, a good vibe and healthy exercise and new found camaraderie. Try the Adult class when you bring your kids.

* Director Gabriela was born in Mexico and grew up in Mexico traveling and exploring its culture. Those discoveries became part of her DNA. She lived, breathe and walked on the same ground as the ethnic areas that now we represent when dancing.

On Gabriela’s words: …”I’ve danced 47 years and it’s my greatest joy to see the beautiful dancers that are being formed in my group. It is more about them than it is about me. It is about how beautiful they feel on stage and me asking my self… what is the next great experience that I could offer them. Bravo to them. Bravo to our dancers as they are a vessel of culture that will keep on”
