Up next at ACS, the 29th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Tradition on October 3rd! Currently the total purse is over $30,000 for the 6 classes that will be a part of this year's Tradition event.

The 2026 points season comes to a close with an eventful night loaded racing action and storylines. Steve Churchill capped off his championship campaign with another win. Buddy Haidsiak found victory lane for the first time since 2024 in the hobby stocks. In the sport mods, Daniel Baudler outdueled Shawn Kralik for his 2nd win of 2026. Troy Hardisty wins in the crown vics for his 1st career win. Brad Bergren comes up clutch, winning the modified feature to win his 1st title since 2006. Tyler Hoover adds another win to his 2026 total in the compacts. Lastly, Zach Zeitner powered his way to a big payday in the Brandon and Scott Saltzman Memorial Race.

Next up at ACS: Three off weeks and then we close out 2026 with the 29th Annual NAPA Auto Parts Tradition on October 3rd.

IT'S CHAMPIONSHIP RACEDAY!!!

Join us ONE HOUR EARLIER tonight for another loaded night of racing action as we have 7 classes on the schedule tonight! Our regular weekly classes will wrap up their points seasons, and we will crown our 2026 champions! Plus, the added addition of the Brandon & Scott Saltzman Memorial $1,598 to-win crate late model show.

LATE MODEL INFO: For the late model class it is a draw/redraw event. It is also non-sanctioned for late models only, so no license is required. Late models will be parked at the south end of the grounds behind the grandstands. Late models when entering please pull into the track on 12th street.

Pits open at 3:00P, stands open at 4:00P, hot laps at 5:30P, and racing starts at 6:00P. Grandstand admission is $12 for adults, teens (13-17) are $5, and kids 12 and under are FREE. Pit Passes are $25 with a NASCAR license and $30 without a license.

JOIN US TOMORROW NIGHT as we crown our 2026 Adams County Speedway Champions!!

***START TIMES ARE ONE HOUR EARLY THIS WEEKEND!!***

This Saturday, September 12th at ACS it's CHAMPIONSHIP NIGHT featuring the Brandon & Scott Saltzman Memorial. A season's worth of hard work and dedication will all come down to this. In 2 classes the champion is yet to be decided.

Modifieds, stock cars, sport mods, hobby stocks, compacts, crown vics and CRATE LATE MODELS for the first time since 2022. The late models will be chasing a $1,598 payday in the Saltzman Memorial. Crate late models entry fee is $35. Late models are non-sanctioned and DO NOT need a NASCAR License. All other classes will need a NASCAR license to compete as usual.

With the extra class, everything will start ONE HOUR EARLIER this Saturday night. Pits open at 3, stands open at 4, hot laps at 5:30 and racing starts at 6:00! Can't make it? Catch it all live only on Dirt Crown TV. There will also be no radio show this week due to the Iowa-Iowa St Football Game on KCSI 95.3.

Crate late model drivers! Tonight is the deadline for discounted pre-entry for this weekends Brandon and Scott Saltzman Memorial!

The question has been asked if a NASCAR license is needed for the late models. This is a non-sanctioned event, no license required for late models.

NASCAR license is still required for all our regular weekly classes. If you’re a new driver considering running with us this weekend, temp licenses are available at driver check-in.

This Saturday night as part of championship night at ACS is the Brandon & Scott Saltzman crate late model race! Discounted pre-entry ends on Thursday, September 10th! Late model drivers! Please be sure to get pre-entered. Late models will be draw/redraw as well.

We've got a tight points race in the Hulett and Sons Hobby Stocks as well! Veteran racers, Jim Tull and Tom Myers are separated by just 4 points going into Saturday's championship night event.

Title claiming scenarios. If Jim Tull finishes better, he is the champion for the first time since 2005.

For Tom Myers, if he can win, he would need Tull to finish 3rd or worse to win outright. If Myers wins and Tull runs 2nd they would be tied in points and wins on the season but, Tull would own the tie-breaker in this scenario based on more 2nd place finishes. However, if Myers doesn't win, he would need to beat Tull by 3 spots as Tull currently owns the tie-breaker based on more wins.

All while that battle is going on, Anthony Davis is lurking in 3rd place 31 points back. Davis would need to win and have both Tull and Myers finish worse than 16th.

The other driver mathematically still in the hunt is Heath Anderson. Heath would need to win against a full field of 24 cars like last Saturday and needs Tull and Myers to finish worse than 21st and have Anthony Davis finish 6th or worse.

It's been a high speed, back and forth chess match all season long between Brad Bergren and Josh Cooper in the POET Biorefining Modifieds. These 2 head into championship night this Saturday night TIED for the points lead meaning their objective is simple, out run the other one.

Their stats almost mirror each other as well. Both have 3 wins, 2 2nd place finishes and 11 top 10 finishes in the 11 features. Bergren has one more top 5.
