I’m at the Adirondack Hot Air Balloon Festival but I only saw kites in the air tonight! My Ellie and two octopuses made it up. I only managed to get a pic of Ellie and other single line kites other people were flying. 14 kites we counted as we left.

Oh! There was a guy flying a duo line kite and Bill briefly tried it out!

I try not to make too many changes as the SKY FLY approaches as it can be confusing and not everyone will ‘get the memo’. But with that said,, it can be a late notice and hopefully it’s the last notice. I strongly encourage followers to check in often to this fb page the week of a SKY FLY. It’s the best way to find out what’s going on.

I found a question on the Event invitation and realized I didn’t think to change the info as far as the time change on there. I tried to edit it today and found I could not re-edit the 11am at the top of the event listing. IDK why… I did fix the time in the paragraphing information. So, another reason to check THIS FB page!

But I am only as good as the weather app on my phone and using the slider on it to pinpoint when the rain will happen. If you drop down the menu, you can find the WIND category. I also have the WINDOMETER APP which is helpful. If anyone has good advice on weather and wind, post it in the comments please!

Really,, just assume we are on and flying. Just go and fly. If I don’t t say it’s cancels, I’ll be there. But you can be first there 😃
