Perfect weather, Men's Club Championship qualifying underway, preparations for next week's Ladies Member-Guest, and plenty of action around the club-golf, swimming, pickleball, tennis and more!

And what better way to finish the day than taking on three of our junior golfers in a "one take challenge" on hole #6. Let's see who's got game! 👀⛳️

It's been a busy and exciting start to the week here at Colonial CC! We were proud to host the 58th Tennessee PGA Professional Championship Monday through Wednesday, welcoming some of the top PGA professionals from across Tennessee to compete on our championship layout for a chance to earn their spot in the PGA Professional Championship.

As always, we're incredibly proud of our own Bobby Cochran and Jason Bell, who continue to represent Colonial CC with class and professionalism both on and off the course.

We've had a busy and fun-filled Saturday here at Colonial CC! It's been an exciting year of tremendous membership growth, and tonight we welcomed our new members for a friendly Drive, Chip & Putt competition.

Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans, and storms rolled in before we could get to the driving portion. But the weather didn't stop the fun! Let's take a look at how our new members did in the putting and chipping competitions.

It's always great to see our members connecting, enjoying some friendly competition, and making the most of their home club.

It is another blistering hot Friday here at Colonial CC in Memphis TN!

We always like to keep our members up to speed with the latest and greatest in golf technology. Today, we had our local Callaway Golf representative, Monica Zanone, join us to showcase some of the newest products in Callaway's impressive porfolio.

I had 12 minutes before it was time to head out for taco Tuesday with family so I thought I’d come and try my luck on hole # 17 here at Colonial country club.

Nothing quite like coming out for a quick “one take challenge” to end another successful day.

This weekend at Colonial CC our members are competing to see who will be crowned the Champions of "The Jake" and "Lady Jake".

From caddie to outstanding amateur, from professional to the South’s most respected instructor, J. C. “Jake” Fondren truly “did it all” in the world of golf.

Jake Fondren served as the head professional at Colonial Country Club in Memphis for 25 years, starting when he took the position in 1946 after returning from World War II service.

Known as a legendary local pro and teacher, he later had a memorial scholarship and tournament named in his honor and he acted as host pro for major local events, such as the Memphis Invitational / Danny Thomas Memphis Classic era tournaments.

Here at Colonial CC we love to honor those who have paved the way for future generations to continue to enjoy this beautiful game of golf.

As the next generation continues to come aboard we will always make sure we continue to honor the traditions of mutual respect, fellowship, and laughter, ensuring every member and guest enjoys their experience every time here, at Colonial CC.
