Bluegill, bream, brim, sunfish, panfish--and that's just a few of the names for the freshwater fish we frequently see in our quarries and lakes. We can see their round "beds" where they spawn on the bottom. Male bluegills will get more colorful during spawning season. They've been known to nibble on a diver's ears if you get too close! 🐟🐟🤿

Happy International Whale Shark Day! There's nothing like a whale shark encounter. 😲 You feel really small and insignificant when you're next to one of these gentle giants. You can dive with the whale shark with us at the Georgia Aquarium Jan. 23, 2027. Where have you seen a whale shark?

The Easy Diver fish is often found on reefs and walls all over the world. You can also find them in quarries. They're easy to identify because of their excellent buoyancy and big smiles on their faces.
