Cherokee Run is an 18-hole, Arnold Palmer designed masterpiece open to the public year round. Welcome to Cherokee Run Golf Club!
A destination golf course, Cherokee Run was designed by the legendary Arnold Palmer and originally opened in 1995. Since it’s opening golfers from all over the world have played our magnificent course. The course is owned and now operated by the City of Conyers. Come and join us for a round of golf, utilize our practice facility or perhaps brush up on your game with a few lessons from our PGA staf

When a young lady goes from just learning the game to almost making a hole-in-one! 🤯
About a year ago, this young lady started playing golf. She joined our Ladies League, kept showing up, kept learning, and kept getting better.
And last night… she almost made a HOLE-IN-ONE! 🙌
She may have missed the ace by just a little bit, but she walked away with something pretty amazing instead—an EAGLE!
It has been so much fun watching how far her game has come in just one year. And honestly, moments like this are exactly why we started Ladies League.
It’s about learning the game in a fun, no-pressure environment, getting comfortable on the golf course, encouraging one another, and celebrating each other’s wins—whether it’s your first good drive, your first par, your first birdie…or your first EAGLE! 🎉
Way to go, girl! We are SO proud of you! 💕🏌️♀️

⛳️ Monday nights are for the LADIES!
Last night was our BIGGEST Ladies League yet! And this isn’t even everyone—several more ladies joined us later!
And what a night it was…
One of our ladies, who started playing golf just about a year ago, made an EAGLE! She went from not playing golf at all to nearly making a HOLE-IN-ONE last night…and walked away with an eagle instead! 🙌🏼
We also had a brand-new lady see our post on Facebook, decide to give it a try, and come join us. She loved it and says she’ll be back! THAT is exactly what Ladies League is all about.
If you’re a woman in our community who wants to meet other women, have some fun, or has thought, “I’d really like to learn to play golf, but I don’t know where to start…” — start here.
There is ZERO pressure. You get to experience the golf course, learn the game, laugh a lot, and play alongside women who are learning right along with you. You absolutely do not have to be a golfer to come!

While you’re taking in the views at Cherokee Run, you might notice a piece of Conyers’ Olympic history along the way. 🏅⛳
These preserved structures were part of the 1996 Olympic equestrian cross-country competition, where riders and horses competed for gold during the Games held right here in Conyers.
Three decades later, the legacy lives on, giving visitors and golfers a chance to experience a piece of Olympic history.
