Miracle League National

The countdown to Cooperstown is on, and we are incredibly excited to introduce the 10 athletes who will represent the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley at Cooperstown All Star Village this Fourth of July weekend!

This is far more than a baseball tournament, it is a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to represent our league, our community, and the entire Commonwealth of Pennsylvania on one of baseball's biggest stages.

Today, Unrivaled Sports launched its
inaugural Ripken National Championships, bringing 16 of the nation's top 12U baseball teams to Cooperstown All Star Village after more than 3,500 athletes across 250 teams competed in qualifying tournaments for the opportunity to be there. The championship weekend will be nationally broadcast on CBS Sports Network, with coverage from GameChanger shining a spotlight on some of the country's best young baseball players.

And in the middle of it all… our athletes will take center stage.

On July 4th, the Miracle League of The Lehigh Valley will face off against the Miracle League of Hartford in a special National Exhibition Game. But this isn't just another exhibition game.

Players competing in the Ripken National Championships immediately volunteered to step out of their own dugouts and onto the field as buddies, demonstrating that the biggest moments in baseball belong to everyone. Together, they'll showcase what this game is truly about—teamwork, inclusion, sportsmanship, and community.

Even more exciting, our game will be streamed live by GameChanger, allowing friends, families, and Miracle League supporters from across the country to watch our athletes compete on a national stage.

As our Director shared:

“We're incredibly excited for our players and families to have the opportunity to travel to Cooperstown All Star Village and experience one of the most iconic destinations in baseball. For many of our athletes, this will be their first time traveling for a baseball event of this magnitude, and the chance to represent our league on such a special stage is truly unforgettable."

With only 10 roster spots available, selecting our team was one of the most difficult decisions we've ever had to make. We have so many incredible athletes who would have represented our league beautifully.

Our roster was thoughtfully assembled with the goal of selecting athletes who embody the heart of the Miracle League. We considered a variety of factors, including consistent family participation in our programs, sportsmanship, enthusiasm, teamwork, and each athlete's readiness for the unique travel experience. Because this is a nationally recognized event of significant scale, we also considered each participant's ability to adapt to long travel days, high summer temperatures, busy environments, changing schedules, and the sensory demands of an exciting but potentially overwhelming experience. We wanted to ensure that each athlete would be able to safely and successfully navigate all aspects of the trip while enjoying the once-in-a-lifetime opportunity. Finally, we sought to create a roster that reflects the incredible diversity of ages and abilities that make the Miracle League of the Lehigh Valley so special, while selecting athletes who would represent our organization with kindness, respect, positivity, and pride.
