The boys of fall are on the move! 🦌🔥
Velvet is gone, necks are swelling, and the woods are waking up. Tactacam REVEALs and had three different solid bucks show up in the same 24.

THIS WEEK’S PLAY:
✅ Morning: Get in EARLY. Does are hammering white oak flats at first light. Bucks cruising back to bed will check those same flats.
✅ Evening: Slide to soybean field edges near water for that last hour. Perfect SE 5-10 winds for most stands.
✅ Peak Day: THURSDAY SEPT 18th (First Quarter 50%) Best morning + evening window of the week. 7AM & 7:15PM. If you can only hunt one day, this is it.
Bucks are starting to get territorial fresh rubs and early scrapes showing up on ridges and creek crossings. Hunt any cold front that pushes through.

THROWBACK 🎣🏔️

Bass fishing in the mountains with my oldest when she was just 4 years old. Caught an absolute HOG and she hasn’t stopped loving the water since.

Crazy how time flies by. This is still one of my favorite lakes to ever fish calm water, big fish, and amazing memories.

Bucks are lying LOW at the farm right now. Me and my boy just sat back and watched these doe bedded in the grass for 10 minutes before they took off.
It would be easy to get caught up chasing antlers. But for me it’s never been about killing the biggest buck. It’s about slowing down, watching God’s creation, and making memories with my son that will outlast any of mount on the wall.
That’s what it’s really about.

PUBLIC LAND STUD ALERT 🚨‼️
We found the spot. Acorns are starting to drop, sign is everywhere, and we got an absolute stud on camera. I think it’s the 8 point we chased last year. Last year he was pushing 130” as an 8. This year?
This is what public land hunting is all about no feeders, no fences, just hard scouting, sweat, and a little luck. Public land season about to fire up. Waccamaw Outdoorz crew going in early.

There’s nothing better than this.
A kid in camo, eyes wide, looking out at God’s creation with wonder. No screens. No noise. Just a green field, a quiet blind, and a heart ready for adventure.
This is how we pass it on to future generations.
