WKA COMMONWEALTH SERIES — WEATHER UPDATE

EVENT POSTPONED — NEW DATE: SEPTEMBER 19TH

HUNTERSTOWN SPEEDWAY

After continuing to monitor the weather forecast and the conditions expected for this weekend, we have made the decision to postpone the WKA Commonwealth Series Championship event and move it to our scheduled rain date of Saturday, September 19th at Hunterstown Speedway.

This was not a decision we wanted to make, but it is the right decision for our racers, teams, staff, and most importantly, our championship.

We have competitors traveling considerable distances and out-of-area officials and staff coming in specifically for this event. More importantly, we do not want our 2026 Commonwealth Series Championships decided by qualifying, shortened races, changing track conditions, or weather.

These racers have battled all season long to put themselves in championship contention. They deserve the opportunity to settle it on the racetrack under proper racing conditions.

IMPORTANT — ENTRIES & PARKING

BY SUNDAY NIGHT, WE WILL ANNOUNCE EXACTLY HOW ALL CURRENT PRE-ENTRIES AND PARKING RESERVATIONS WILL BE TRANSFERRED TO THE SEPTEMBER 19TH EVENT.

Please give us until Sunday evening to get everything organized so we can make the transition as simple as possible for everyone. There is no need to contact us individually regarding your entry or parking at this time. Full details will be posted Sunday night.

We appreciate everyone's understanding. Hopefully September 19th gives us the weather and racing conditions these competitors deserve as we return to Hunterstown Speedway to crown our 2026 WKA Commonwealth Series Champions!

🏁 WKA REGIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP SERIES – ROUND 4 UPDATE🏁

The Reaper Championship portion of the WKA Regional Series will now be completed September 19 at Coleridge Speedway, as part of their Points Series event.

This adjustment will have very minimal impact on the existing racing schedule, avoid any major disruptions, and most importantly, still preserve the rain date for the Labor Day Bash for September 12th a event of that magnitude must happen as close to it’s scheduled date.

The Hoosier Championship portion remains exactly as originally planned and will be completed October 17 at Woodleaf Raceway during the Lee Holt Memorial.

All finishing orders from the applicable classes will be provided to WKA and Regional Championship points will be updated accordingly.

A HUGE THANK YOU to Coleridge Speedway and Woodleaf Raceway for their cooperation and for working with WKA throughout the 2026 season!

🏆 And we're already looking forward to Season 3 in 2027 with Coleridge • Stateline • Woodleaf • TBA!

Our goal throughout these unexpected schedule changes has been simple — minimize the impact on our racers, complete the 2026 Championships, and make sure our 1st, 2nd & 3rd Place Championship Awards are ready and awarded before the end of the year!
