🥉 Congratulations to Isaiah Anderson! 🥉

Isaiah Anderson earned a Bronze Medal in the Youth World Class -40 kg Division at the U.S. National Taekwondo Championships.

In his first year qualifying for and competing at Nationals, Isaiah fought his way to the semifinals, securing a medal for Ohio United Taekwondo with an incredible comeback after losing by 10 points in the final round.

Isaiah's bronze was our final medal of the tournament and secured Ohio United Taekwondo's third podium finish at our first-ever U.S. National Championships.

We're incredibly proud of Isaiah's performance and can't wait for next year!

🥉 Congratulations to Mohammed Alshareefi! 🥉

Mohammed Alshareefi earned a Bronze Medal at the U.S. National Taekwondo Championships (World Class Junior -63 Kg Division) with an outstanding performance.

Entering the tournament as the lowest seed in his division, Mohammed fought his way to the national semifinals with four straight wins, including victories over the #2 and #10 ranked athletes in the country.

This was Ohio United Taekwondo's first-ever appearance at the U.S. National Championships, making Mohammed's performance and national medal a historic milestone for our team.

🥈 Congratulations to Noah Sanchez! 🥈

Noah Sanchez has become the first athlete in GAU Ohio / Ohio United Taekwondo history to earn a medal at the U.S. National Taekwondo Championships, taking Silver in the Junior Male -63 kg Division.

Noah began competing early this year, and has worked very hard to earn this achievement.

A special thank you to Master Andrew from GAU DMV for stepping into Noah's coaching chair after he advanced to the semifinals and coaching him through both the semifinal and final matches.

This year marks a historic milestone for Ohio United Taekwondo as we make our first appearance at the upcoming USA Taekwondo National Championships!

For the majority of our athletes, this will also be their first-ever official National-level competition. Qualifying for Nationals is an accomplishment in itself, and we are incredibly proud of the dedication, discipline, and perseverance each athlete has shown throughout the season.

Ohio United Taekwondo Nationals Prep Camp (June 20–21) — Complete!

A special thank you to Master Andrew Yang and Master Dennis Kim for taking time out of their incredibly busy schedules to spend the weekend training our Ohio United Taekwondo athletes in preparation for the upcoming USA Taekwondo National Championships.

Having coaches of their caliber was a tremendous honor, and we are grateful for the knowledge, experience, and energy they brought to the camp. We can't wait to welcome them back next year!

The athletes had an intense and productive first day focused on technical training, followed by an exciting three-hour rumble session using the Daedo Gen 3 system on day two. The hard work, dedication, and competitive spirit displayed throughout the weekend were outstanding.

For many Ohio United Taekwondo athletes, this will be their first year qualifying for and competing at Nationals. This camp provided a valuable final opportunity to sharpen their skills, build confidence, and prepare for the challenges ahead.

Thank you again to Masters Yang and Kim for helping our athletes take the next step in their journey. We wish all of our competitors the best of luck at Nationals!
