2013 West Jefferson Grad- Corey Ginn has once again been nominated for the athletic hall of fame.

Corey was a back to back district champion in 2012 and 2013. He finished as the Division 3 State runner up in 2013 with a final record of 54-4.

He went on to play college football for Urbana University.

To vote for Corey, you need to purchase a membership to the Roughrider Club for this year and then follow the link to vote!

Open mat/ competition night this Tuesday from 6-730pm in our wrestling room.

Rylan Puckett went back to Virginia Beach and went 5-1 for his dual team this weekend.

This summer wrestling will pay dividends this coming season!

If you’re looking for another opportunity to get better, tonight is the second week of the southwest Columbus wrestling scrap nights. Madison Plains is hosting tonight at 6pm. These will run every Tuesday night at different schools through the summer.

There is no charge and it’s open for 7-12th grade!

🤼 Congratulations to Senior Ayden Cordle on signing to continue his academic and wrestling career at Rio Grande University!

A three-sport athlete and wrestling state placer, Ayden has represented West Jeff with pride. We wish him the best at the next level!

Champions may be crowned in the winter, but they are built in the spring and summer. These roughriders are competing in Virginia Beach this weekend for NHSCA nationals!
