This week's Team of the Week is the Switch Hitters!

For the past six years, the Switch Hitters have been a proud part of the RiverCity Softball League, growing together season after season and proving that teamwork, friendship, and commitment are a winning combination.

🏃‍♂️💨 Known as one of the fastest teams in the league, the Switch Hitters can turn any routine play into an adventure. Whether they're stretching singles into doubles, chasing down fly balls, or flying around the bases, this team brings speed and excitement every time they take the field.

⚾ Competing in our Intermediate (D) Division, this is a group that has stuck together, supported one another, and continued to develop as players and teammates over the years.

💙 More importantly, they embody what our league is all about: community, inclusion, sportsmanship, and having a great time together.

Team of the Week: Headliners

Division: Recreational (E)
Years in League: 4

The Headliners have been bringing their talent, sportsmanship, and infectious energy to our fields for many years. Whether they're making big plays, cheering on teammates, or keeping the dugout full of laughs, this team always knows how to put on a show!

👏⚾ We are especially excited to cheer them on as they represent the league and our city at the upcoming Gay Softball World Series in Columbus in the E Division. Their dedication, positive attitude, and love of the game make them outstanding ambassadors for our league and community.

From the first pitch to the final out, the Headliners remind us what RiverCity Softball is all about: competition, friendship, inclusion, and fun.

🐾Team of the Week: Atomic Dogs 🐶
Division: Competitve (C)
Manager: Mike Bain
Years in League: 4th Year as Atomic Dogs

This week we celebrate the Atomic Dogs, a powerhouse team in our Competitive Division (C). Prior to the four years as the Dogs you may have known them as the Patriots. This squad has been the team to beat during many previous seasons, winning consecutive tournament championships in the past.

They have a new look this second session with a themed Paw Patrol jersey!

We appreciate their continued support of the league and high level of play!
