Lakota is heading to Australia!!! Can't wait to see her back on the court knocking down threes 😃

The Coburg GIANTS are pleased to announce the signing of shooting guard Lakota Beatty to our Division 2 Women’s squad for the BigV 2026 season.

Having competed in New Zealand and most recently in the Netherlands, Lakota brings valuable international experience, excitement, and a strong scoring presence that will elevate the squad.

In addition to her playing background, Lakota has worked within the OKC Thunder youth program, adding leadership and impact both on and off the court for the GIANTS this season.

Lakota will be arriving in the coming weeks, so be sure to give her a warm welcome when you see her around the club.

It was a quick trip to Phoenix. Congratulations to Coach Close and UCLA. A well deserved championship!

Here is an overseas update: Teige Morrell recently wrapped up her season with Canberra of Australia's WNBL and is starting her NBL1 season (where she has been named League MVP a record 3 times) with Rockingham. Jocelyn Tate is finishing up her season with the Nottingham Wildcats of the British Superleague. Kayce Vaile dominated in Ireland and heads to Australia next week to compete with McKinnon in the Big V League. Jayla Oden will begin the playoffs soon in Germany with BasCats USC Heidelberg. And a shoutout to former client Emilee Whittle-Harmon who began her head coaching career with Kilsyth of Australia's NBL1. Wishing everyone continued success!

Mid season update:
Jayla Oden (Illinois/Penn State) getting comfortable with her new club in Germany (Bascats of Heidelberg) and is a key piece in getting them ready for the playoffs.

Jocelyn Tate (Bowling Green/Michigan State) is doing the same for her new club in the UK’s Superleague (Nottingham Wildcats).

Kayce Vaile (UW-Oshkosh) is averaging a double double per game in Ireland (Swords Club) and is the dominant post player in the league.

Post player Teige Morrell (Nevada) is coming off a solid WNBL season with Canberra and will report to her new NBL1 club (Rockingham) in the coming days. Look for Teige to light up the NBL1 again this season!

Kayce Vaile with a BIG double double! I think it’s safe to say 32 rebounds is a record for one of my clients. Wow.
