We appreciated the invitation by Delta Theta Omega and Iota Phi Theta® Fraternity Inc to table at their back-to-school resource fair!

Over the course of the event, we met with over 70 people and were able to let them know about Mozaic’s:

⚖️ free legal resources and drop-in hours,
👕 free clothing closet, and
🆓 free swag like stickers and sweatbands!

We learned so much attending LOVEboldly and Franklin County Coroner's Office first ever Symposium on LGBTQ+ Death and Dying!

We know that death planning is an act of trans and q***r self-determination, especially at a time when name changes and ID changes are under attack. Make life more livable by having an honest conversation about what you want for your death, and:

Last week, our team had the pleasure of meeting with representatives from the Columbus
Mayor’s Office at Safe Point – Central Ohio’s only sanctioned syringe service program
(SSP).

We gave the City of Columbus team a tour of the space and a firsthand look at the program’s
life-saving impact. During the tour, we highlighted the team’s dedication to building trust with the communities it serves through its:

💉 syringe exchange and safe injection use education materials,
🆓 free NARCAN and fentanyl testing strips,
👩🏽‍⚕️ linkages to medical care, and more.

Mozaic and the External Affairs team are proud of the work we do every day to protect
essential risk prevention services like those offered at Safe Point and other Equitas Health programs. 🩷

Yesterday, the Mozaic team joined ARCH Reentry for “First Step Friday” — a monthly event aimed at helping returning citizens re-establish themselves after incarceration.

As a regular participant of this open to the public and free resource fair, Equitas Health — including Mozaic and Ohio HIV/STI Hotline — helped over 50 attendees this month. 🙌

Thank you to ARCH for inviting us to participate, to OMJ Columbus-Franklin County for providing space for the event, and to Franklin County Office of Justice Policy & Programs for lending their support to attendees.

We were so happy to chat with the community and provide a space for folks to pick out a new outfit. Huge thank you to the Safe Point team for inviting us along! 🫂🩷

Mozaic & Threads Revisited will be coming soon to a site near you! Stay tuned to find out where we’ll be next! 😉
