“You look so fit. What are you taking?”
Myself to CrossFit Grandview. 😏
Strength. Endurance. Conditioning. Consistency.
All in one class, surrounded by a community that pushes you to work harder, show up more often, and become better than you were yesterday.
You don’t need a complicated training plan. You need great coaching, smart programming, hard work, and consistency.
We’ve got the rest covered.
CrossFit done right, by the pros.

Fall Strength is here
We’re changing gears this week and kicking off our Fall Strength Cycle this week!
We’ve spent a lot of the summer training a broad mix of CrossFit, conditioning, running, Sunday HYROX work, and heavier lifting. Now we’re going to narrow the focus a little and spend the next few months getting STRONG.
The cycle will be broken into two phases:
BUILD | August 10 – October 11
For the first nine weeks, we’ll focus on accumulating quality volume and building muscle, work capacity, and better positions under load. Our primary lifts will be the Back Squat, Bench Press, and Deadlift, while rotating in the Front Squat, Strict Press, and Power Clean to keep things balanced.
PERFORM | October 12 – November 8
After we’ve built the foundation, we’ll start turning that work into heavier strength. Volume will gradually come down, intensity will climb, and our focus will shift toward the three lifts we’ll eventually test: Front Squat, Strict Press, and Deadlift.
And that brings us to one of our favorite traditions...
Monday, November 9 — ROGUE TOTAL
For those newer to Grandview, the Rogue Total has a lot of history here. Before we were CrossFit Grandview, we were the Original Rogue Fitness Gym, so this one has been part of our DNA for a long time.
On November 9, we’ll test a 1RM Strict Press, 1RM Front Squat, and 1RM Deadlift and combine all three for your Rogue Total.
We intentionally put the test on a Monday so as many of you as possible can be here, throw some weight on the bar, chase a PR, and be part of what should be an awesome day in the gym.
13 weeks. Build it. Perform when it counts. Then see what you’ve got.
Let’s get after it!

🔥 The Challenge # — YEAR 2! 🔥
What a day!
Saturday we hosted our second annual “The Challenge,” designed and run by Coach Drake Stephens!
Athletes across multiple divisions took on 4 fun, unique, and HARD workouts testing strength, skills, conditioning, and plenty of grit in the August heat.
The competition was awesome, the energy was high, and the entire day ran incredibly well!
Huge thank you to everyone who made it happen — our athletes, judges, volunteers, sponsors, vendors, coaches, and everyone who came out to support and cheer people on!
And a BIG shoutout to Drake for putting together another phenomenal event. Year 2 was a huge success!
We’ve got a pretty damn awesome community.

Every single person in these photos had a first day.
They wondered if they were too out of shape.
If everyone else would be better.
If they would fit in.
If they were ready.
The truth?
Those thoughts are completely normal.
At CrossFit Grandview, you don’t have to “get in shape” before you start.
That’s our job.
✔ Every workout is coached.
✔ Every movement is scaled to your ability.
✔ Every athlete starts exactly where they are.
The strongest members in our gym were all beginners once.
If you’ve been waiting until you feel ready…
This is your sign to stop waiting.
Come meet our coaches, see the gym, and experience a class for yourself. We think you’ll quickly realize it’s a lot less intimidating—and a lot more fun—than you imagined.
📩 DM us “START” and we’ll help you take the first step.
This Saturday we’ll be honoring the life of Carter Jack, the beloved son of longtime members Drew Jack and Kris KJ Carter tragically passed at just 2 years old, but his 786 days on this earth were filled with love, laughter, books, toy cars, and applesauce.
We’ve programmed a special Memorial WOD in his name — “Carter” — totaling 786 reps as a tribute to the days he lived. Let’s come together as a community and pack the gym to support Drew, Kristen, and Carter’s memory.

Some people leave a mark on a community simply by being themselves.
For so many years, Kelly Cantwell was one of those people at our gym.
She walked through our doors with a smile that could light up the room, endless energy, and somehow always seemed to get everyone else smiling too. If there was music playing, Kelly was dancing. If there was a celebration, she was there. If someone needed encouragement, she was the first to offer it.
She cared deeply about others and had a truly selfless heart. Kelly had a way of making people feel seen, welcomed, and loved—just by being exactly who she was.
Our gym won’t feel quite the same without her laughter, her spirit, and the joy she brought to every class, workout, and party. We are incredibly grateful for the many years we had with her and the memories she gave all of us.
Our hearts are with her husband Greg Cantwell, family, and everyone who had the privilege of knowing and loving Kelly.
You will be deeply missed, Kelly. Thank you for making our community brighter.
Not every fitness goal has to be a marathon, a competition, or a huge PR.
Coach Dave wraps up our private training series with something we believe is just as important: consistency.
As we get older, training becomes less about proving something and more about preserving something. Strength. Mobility. Energy. Independence. The ability to keep doing the things you love with the people you love.
It’s also a side of CrossFit Grandview that many people don’t see.
While we’re known for our group classes and competitive athletes, a huge part of what we do every day is private training. We work with people of all ages and backgrounds who simply want to move better, feel better, and invest in a longer, healthier life.
You don’t need to have an extraordinary goal to benefit from coaching. Sometimes the best goal is just showing up consistently.
That’s where real change happens.
