Building in a push draw baseline w/ this station.

Players started hitting steep deflected cuts and low pull draws. Setup adjustments and this station moved the pattern to push draw and helped control low point depth as well!

The one thing for this video is understanding that we as players can do to much of something or to little of something.

In this case, this would be a video for the player who struggles with handle dragging and matching up the release, arm speed and body speed timing.

To make this very clear, if you have an open face, throw angles early already, this is video is likely NOT for you! If you are a handle dragger and struggle w/ contact (thin particular) and getting the ball up in the air, please pay attention!

Hope this helps!

It is mind blowing how many people think they have golf swing issues vs setup geometry issues.

The easiest win in golf is designing a shot at address, and building in an expectation to what the ball is going to do. This gives you a reference for when something is moving the right direction but also a feedback loop for when something is off.

This player here went from hitting pull draws and high weak fades to push draws in 2 shots. The education of it is what took the most time!

Make decisions based on how the ball is going to do something different and how contact is going to be improved.

Amazing what you can do with a tool as simple as a yoga wedge!

Using this here for a player that had a tendency to move towards the ball for too long causing low point to move out (thin shots, heel contact and swing direction to far right). This just helps in aiding where pressure is moving and the timing of it.

We were combining this with getting the hand path more around (which the yoga wedge aided) and shift the players Swing Direction from +10 back to 0.

Hope this helps and let me know if you have any questions!

Almost 9 months into playing golf this kid is. Starting our first month off with setup skills to create basic ball flight and contact and everything else has been training like this get movement patterns better and learning how to load and transfer energy! Mach3 Speed Training tools help out a lot keeping the thought process minimal in this development stage!

New video coming soon!

Really cool looking at data on short game stuff! I had never really spent anytime exploring short game until working w/ and watching the incredible wedge shots this guy can hit! A few chats w/ certainly helped too!

Ball above my feet, downhill lie, short sided on grainy bermuda!

One of my new favorites here I came up with the ® antenna for matching up the arms and body in the downswing (turning rates and timing for the arms to create their speed / punch)!

My question for everyone here would be “what type of player / low point flaw” would this drill help? Not for everyone but can certainly help a few players out there!

The skill to hitting a controlled pull fade doesn’t necessarily come from trying to swing as far across the ball as possible and surely doesn’t come from holding off the club face through impact.

The first key is shot design. Ball forward on the arc, no forward press, club face open to the lead edge of the shaft (open face to path). The forearms and shoulders will sit open due to ball position being forward.

The skill here is releasing the lead wrist into extension without adding a lot of forearm rotation (lead forearm supination).

One of the coolest things I have learned to control in my life being a big over drawer of the golf ball most of my career.

Motion mapping for the player who struggles with being steep in transition!

Working here on setup (taller in the legs) and maintaining height in the backswing. This is help control the arc height and reduce the urge to fall into secondary tilt (ground first contact and swing direction to far to the right).

Awesome work from this talented young lady!
