Can you post this anonymously for me. We are new to club soccer my son wants to play in high school and we were told he needed to be on a club team to be considered. He is trying out for his high school team later this month but in the meantime we did these crazy tryouts and made a second team at a club close-ish by. We started payment plan for a team that won’t start until after the high school season but just got an email to sign up for extra training for more money with his soon to be coach. Is this normal? Will we be penalized if we don’t sign up for this?
