Join us for our final Yoga + Farm event! We will gather in the morning for yoga at 9 am, followed by a few hours on the farm, and then an optional lunch. It’s a great way to meet new, like-minded folks, spend a little time on the land, and feel good in your body again. See story or DM me for registration details. See you in the game!

One of the things that makes me a good yoga teacher and yoga therapist is the ability to draw from many different sources. According to Rose Horowitch’s recent article in The Atlantic 80% of all reading is being done by 20% of Americans. An interesting take on the 80/20 rule. This is absolutely a 20% of the population that I am proud to be a member of! And if you’re thinking of joining, come on in, water’s warm, you are welcome here.

July 1, 10 am-1 pm
Join Elizabeth & Reden’s community for a morning on the farm in movement, stillness, and shared work with the land.
This monthly gathering at Seminary Hill Farm blends hands-on farm time, gentle, yoga, and optional shared lunch in a slow, seasonal rhythm of embodied practice and ecological connection.
We begin on the land, working together with simple farm tasks. From there, we move into an all levels, yoga practice to share to integrate the experience. We close with optional community lunch for those who wish to stay and share food. Each gathering invites us into a deeper question: what does it mean to care for ourselves, each other, and Earth at the same time.? July’s theme is non-harming as active care.
Please dm for more details or check the link in stories and bio.

History check: Anna Jarvis wanted people to recognize and honor the women who held communities together. Not expensive cards, not picture perfect brunches, not any of the pop culture things that have replaced her original idea. Mother’s Day can be such treacherous territory for so many people. People who wanted to become mothers and life didn’t move that way, people with an estranged children, people whose mothers have died. Let’s instead acknowledge the people who do the work of caring for others.

After many meaningful years in this space, Reden will be closing its current studio location on May 31.
This decision comes from both thoughtful consideration and a clear sense that it is time for the next phase.
The work itself continues—just in a different form.
I’m deeply grateful for all that has been created here, and for the community that has shaped it.
More to come.

Elizabeth

There are plants called fire followers (pyrophiles) that sprout and bloom after a wildfire has devastated a landscape. The heat and the nutrient rich ash quickens them to grow. It is possible to remember love even in devastation.

Parked outside of Reden and paused to eat a sandwich in my warm car, cozy & content. I was thinking how lovely it was to have a moment to myself with no distractions and no one needing anything from me. Ahhh… and then I saw him… 😳😳😳
