It was called the rumble and we came to do just that!

National races brings a caliber of racing that has helped me grow as a driver. Heats are stressful because every lap, every position, every moment matters. The senior division this year is packed with amazing competition and we have the largest car count at every race. So there is not a ton of room for learning mistakes or will see what we have in the car. So when we took to the track with no practice this weekend, we found ourselves in some low mains.

I needed to fix my line and dad needed to make some quick adjustments! Between the two of us we had the cars moving in the right direction! We transferred the Lt 160 from the E -> D -> C and just missed the transfer to the B. The Sn Honda started in the C and transferred to the B. This is were the perseverance kicked in. We ended up being the collateral damage of every wreck on track!! Constantly in the pits, constantly pushing back out, holding a damaged car to the finish. The car had the speed, I was focused, and was ready each time to fight again. But in the end that run ended our day.

We are so grateful for the opportunity we get to run nationals and race alongside competitors who are raising the bar. Because at the end of the day, I can see how that is making me a better driver as well!! Dad and I always say win we praise him, loose we praise him, no matter the results if we give our best God will use all of it to make us who he needs us to be at the track.
