Loggerhead Curling Club

Not sure what to wear out on the ice? Here's our handy guide for anyone looking to curl with us.

SHOES - Athletic shoes work well (make sure the soles are clean!). No raised heels or flip flops!

PANTS - Wear stretchy pants that allow you to move freely (leggings, activewear, sweatpants). Please NO JEANS - they leave cotton on the ice.

Layers are recommended, as it can be cold on the ice (but you may warm up with all that sweeping!). Gloves and thick socks are helpful.

Wow, what an amazing weekend of curling at the 2026 Pirates of the Curl-ibbean bonspiel! Thanks to for hosting such a great event. This is the most participants Loggerhead has ever had at a bonspiel, and it was great to meet so many people from different clubs across the country. Overall, it was an excellent club showing!
