As a lot of you know each year on the first Saturday in December we put on a benefit that includes a powerlifting meet and basket auction honoring my son Nick. The first few years we sent all proceeds to Akron children's oncology floor which is great. The last few years we found local families dealing with cancer. All families need it and any suggestions are always considered but dealing with childhood cancer myself I understand the struggles of having a child dealing with this terrible disease. If anyone knows of anyone dealing with this situation Kelly and I would appreciate it if you messaged me here on facebook or approach me here at the gym and let me know.
First year we raised close to 4k
second year around 7 k
3rd year around 17k
4th year around 10k
