🌟 Trainee Team Shoutout: API! 🌟
This week, we're recognizing an incredible team of CARE trainees at API Project Fitness: Sam, Macin, Jobe, and Lucas! 👏
Their story is about much more than the work they do. It's about the connections they've built through the CARE Program.
Sam, Macin, and Jobe returned to API this summer after working together last year. Although they attend three different high schools (Father Tolton, Rock Bridge, and Battle), they stayed in touch throughout the year because of the friendships they formed through CARE. This summer, they welcomed Lucas, a Hickman High School student, to the team, making it a group that represents four Columbia high schools.
At API, these young men do much more than show up to work. Together, they keep the gym running smoothly, help train young athletes, create engaging social media content, and work as a true team. Their dedication, collaboration, and positive attitudes have made a meaningful impact on the organization.
What started as a summer job has grown into lasting friendships that likely never would have happened without the CARE Program. This is exactly what CARE is all about! Creating opportunities, building workplace skills, and bringing young people together across our community.
A special thank you to API for investing in these trainees and providing an environment where they can grow both professionally and personally.
