Today I found a Planet Fitness and got my workout in. Somewhere between realizing my gloves were missing and my watch was dead, I laughed because those are usually the exact reasons I would’ve turned around and left this B***h!!
Not today, SATAN!
My fitness journey isn’t about perfect workouts or perfect conditions. It’s about making the adjustment, getting it done anyway, and moving on. 💪🏾💪🏾💪🏾

So…leg day turned into cardio because this hotel gym wasn’t built for the kind of workout I had in mind. That left me running the hot AF streets of Tampa this morning instead. 😂
Tomorrow’s mission is finding a Planet Fitness. The plan changed, but the goal didn’t.

Lately, I’ve been investing in myself in ways no one else can see. Some of it shows on the outside. Most of it doesn’t. The best part? I can feel the difference.
And that’s a beautiful place to be.

While cleaning out closets today, I came across a pair of Brooks Ghosts I had completely forgotten about. Since I plan to start marathon training in August, no need to cop a new pair.

Then came meeting after meeting after meeting…
Some days the real challenge isn’t in the gym. It’s staying focused, staying pleasant, and making it through your calendar with your smile still intact. 😇☺️
I’m grateful, but whew… birthday vacation can’t get here soon enough. ☀️✨ 😎 🌊

This shirt felt appropriate today.
A mile and a half walk. A mile run. A little sunshine and a lot of gratitude.
The older I get, the more I understand that strength isn’t just about what happens in the gym. It’s about continuing to show up through the ups and downs, the setbacks, the surprises, and yes…these dayum hormones.
“You gotta keep your head up.”
So that’s the plan.
