Benedict Picked To Finish 2nd In SIAC, Five Tigers Named To Preseason Team - Benedict College Athletics MACON, Ga. – The Benedict College Tigers are picked to finish second in the SIAC in the 2026 football race in a vote by the league's head coaches, and had five players make the SIAC Preseason All-Conference Team, the league announced on Wednesday at their annual Football Media Day.

TIGERS GIVING BACK: Coach Dickerson and players JaHaven Phillips, Isaiah Turner and David Smith, took part in the SIAC Community Service Project on Tuesday. They visited the Beverly Knight Olson Children’s Hospital in Macon, Ga., and helped stuff toiletry bags, and toured the hospital. Wednesday they will take part in the SIAC Football Media Day.
