We are proud to highlight Sharon Mann, a dedicated and valued member of the Saluda Shoals Foundation Board for over six years!
A CPA by profession, Sharon brought her financial expertise to the board after serving as Chief Financial Officer for GIS in Chapin. Following GIS’s merger with HireRight in 2019, she transitioned into consulting, continuing to lend her talents to organizations that matter.
Beyond her professional accomplishments, Sharon enjoys traveling, reading, and hiking. She also gives generously of her time by volunteering on several nonprofit boards.

Looking back seven years ago, Leo's Landing Inclusive Playground opened on this day in 2019 at Saluda Shoals Park. Funded through donations to the Saluda Shoals Foundation from local businesses and individuals in the community, Leo's Landing is a place where people of all ages and abilities can play together. Inspired by Leo Bugenske and his family, Leo’s Landing was designed to promote inclusive play, with wheelchair-accessible features and opportunities for imaginative play, physical activity, social interaction and sensory exploration. In 2022, the playground expanded, creating even more opportunities for inclusive play.
Today, Leo’s Landing continues to be a place where children of all abilities can play side by side, families can spend time together and everyone can feel welcome. With accessible features for children of all abilities, Leo’s Landing is a true community treasure. 💚
