Spring Valley proudly welcomes Cameron Lee as the new Head Coach of the Boys Basketball
Program. A product of Richland School District Two and a former standout at Ridge View High
School, Coach Lee has built a reputation as a dedicated leader with a passion for developing
young men both on and off the court. Known for his disciplined approach, attention to detail, and
ability to connect with players, he has consistently emphasized accountability, teamwork, and
academic success throughout his coaching career.

Coach Lee arrives at Spring Valley after four successful seasons as Head Boys Basketball
Coach at Lakewood High School in Sumter, South Carolina. During his tenure, he built a highly
respected program in the P*e Dee region, leading the team to three playoff appearances and
developing two All-State players. His teams were known for their hard-nosed defensive
approach and unselfish play on the offensive end. In 2025, Lee was recognized as the Region
5-4A Coach of the Year.

Prior to his time at Lakewood, Lee served as an assistant coach at Ridge View High School,
where he contributed to three State Championship teams.

After completing his collegiate career at Cameron University, Lee went on to play professionally
overseas, where he gained valuable experience and further developed his interest in pursuing a
future in coaching.

In his new role, Coach Lee will focus on building a competitive program that reflects the values
of Spring Valley High School—hard work, integrity, and excellence. He is committed to
developing student-athletes who will succeed not only in basketball but also in the classroom
and in their communities.

“I am honored and excited for the opportunity to lead the basketball program at Spring Valley,”
said Coach Lee. “This is a special place with a strong tradition, and I look forward to working
with our student-athletes, staff, and community to build something great.”
