Come out and join us from 12–5 PM for a fun day with the CYFL community!

We’ll have bounce houses, a DJ, face painting, our Homecoming Court, football, cheer and more!

This event is open to the entire community, so bring your family and friends!

🏈 CYFL GAME DAY REMINDERS 🏈

Coaches, Players & Families — as we head into game day, please help us keep CYFL safe, organized, and FUN for everyone!

🏈 TEAM & SPECTATOR SIDELINES
Players and coaches should remain on the team sideline/bench during games. Parents, families, and guests must stay on the spectator sideline. If you are sitting on the team sideline, you may be asked to relocate.

Please keep chairs, footballs, pets, strollers, and other belongings a few feet back from the sideline so our referees have plenty of room to safely do their jobs.

⛑️ PLAYER SAFETY EQUIPMENT
Every player must have the proper required safety equipment to participate:
• ALL players: Mouth guard
• Flag: Soft-shell helmet and required flag equipment
• Tackle: All required and properly fitted tackle equipment

Please double-check equipment before leaving home!

🤝 CODE OF CONDUCT & SPORTSMANSHIP
Players, parents, and coaches are all expected to follow the CYFL Code of Conduct.

We ask everyone to help us create a positive environment by showing good sportsmanship and using appropriate communication. Please treat players, coaches, CYFL staff, referees, opponents, and other families with respect.

We know games can get exciting — cheer LOUD for your kids while keeping comments toward officials, coaches, and opposing teams respectful. ❤️🏈

🚗 COSMO PARK SAFETY
Please drive slowly and carefully while at Cosmo Park. Parking areas have designated entrances, exits, and traffic directions. Please follow them and stay alert for all of our kiddos and families walking through the area.

CYFL Heat Safety Reminder ☀️🏈

With the high temperatures forecasted for this week, Columbia Youth Football League (CYFL) wants to remind all coaches and families that player safety comes first.

Please use the heat index/“feels like” temperature when making decisions regarding practice intensity, water breaks, practice duration, and cancellations.

A few important reminders:

* Build frequent, mandatory water and rest breaks into practices.
* Reduce intensity and duration as the heat index rises.
* Make shade available whenever possible.
* Closely monitor players for any signs of heat illness.
* At a heat index of 105°F or higher, practices should be cancelled or postponed.
* If conditions are concerning, even below 105°F, coaches should use good judgment and modify or end practice.

There is no expectation to push through unsafe conditions just to complete a practice. Player safety comes first.

Coaches, please communicate any schedule changes or cancellations to your families as early as possible.

💙 Daydreams Clarification 💙

We’ve noticed there’s been a little confusion regarding the Daydreams option during CYFL registration, so we wanted to help clear things up!

If you selected Daydreams on your CYFL registration, that does not automatically enroll you with the Daydreams Foundation. It simply lets us know that you intend to use their program.

To be considered for funding, you must also complete a separate application directly through the Daydreams Foundation at daydreamsfoundation.org.

If you haven’t completed that application yet, please do so as soon as possible so there aren’t any delays with your registration.

A huge THANK YOU to everyone who signed up for the 2026 CYFL Fall Season! We truly appreciate your support and can’t wait to see all of our athletes take the field and our cheerleaders shine on the sidelines.

Our board is now hard at work finalizing teams, coaches, and schedules. We’re looking forward to an amazing season filled with learning, teamwork, and unforgettable memories.
