Upper body focuses have been great for keeping my legs relaxed on some hilly runs this week. Hills don’t have to make you tired and sore if you run them right. 😊

The biggest thing holding many athletes back is a lack of focus on recovery. It’s not about doing more, it’s about setting yourself up to absorb your training.
Those extra miles on your rest days might give you bragging rights on Strava, but they’re not setting you up for long term health.
Your recovery isn’t a break from training, it is part of training.
