Born into a musical family in a small New England town, Reed Foehl started as a street singer on the streets of Boston and has gone on to release over 11 studio albums. He writes songs like postcards from the long way home — weathered, honest, and quietly devastating. Rooted in American folk, his music carries the weight of loss, love, and survival, told with a voice that sounds lived-in and unafraid. Grammy-nominated for Fly, co-written with Brent Cobb and covered by Lee Ann Womack. His seventh album is due in 2026, recorded in Woodstock, NY with Gregory Alan Isakov, Jeffrey Martin, Anna Tivel, Rich Hinman, and Jeb Bows. He lives in the Green Mountains of Vermont and tours across the globe.

Born in the beer-soaked basements of Philadelphia — Jordan Caiola founded the band in 2010 and they have been on the road since. 100+ tour dates a year. Selling out clubs and theaters across the US. Their fifth album Tailing the Ghost is out now, described by the band as made with “more spontaneity, gut and sense of self assurance” than anything before.

Isaac Horn and Lincoln Mick met as choir students in Nashville in 2013 and started playing together after class. Fiddler Bailey Warren joined full-time in 2020. Their self-titled debut in 2015 racked up nearly 50 million Spotify streams. Finch in the Pantry debuted Top 10 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart. Their 2021 EP Principium reached #3 on the Billboard Bluegrass Chart and earned them shows at the Woody Guthrie Center and the Ryman Auditorium.

Grammy nomination for Fly, co-written with Brent Cobb and covered by Lee Ann Womack. Wild Wild Love (2022) recorded with The Band of Heathens in Austin. Seventh album coming in 2026 with guests including Gregory Alan Isakov, Jeffrey Martin, and Anna Tivel.

The Animeros
Friday, August 21 | 8 PM

Nick Tozzo, Nicolas Sanchez, and Mauro Lopez formed The Animeros in Austin in 2024 — each of them bringing a different thread of Latin music to the same room. Sanchez grew up in Colombia with salsa and cumbia playing in his parents’ house. Lopez’s parents’ records spanned traditional Tejano to improvised jazz. Tozzo fell in love with salsa in college and moved to Colombia to study folkloric cumbia firsthand. When they found each other in Austin, they built something tighter and more visceral than any of the bands they had been in before.

Their music drifts between the lush jungles of Colombia, the palm-lined streets of 1960s coastal Mexico, and the dusty cantinas of West Texas — cumbia, bolero, mambo, psychedelia, and rock, all of it built for the dance floor. “The way we think about it is we usher souls to the dancefloor. Forget about your problems, get out there and get sweaty with us.”

Dan Auerbach of The Black Keys heard their music floating from a hotel window and tracked them down. He signed them to his Easy Eye Sound label and produced their debut album ¡Qué Bárbaro! in Nashville.

Chris Knight | Tim Meegan Jr. & The 105 | 8 PM
From Slaughters, Kentucky — population 238. A decade as a mine reclamation inspector before Steve Earle on the radio changed everything. First record deal at 37. The New York Times: “the last of a dying breed...a taciturn loner with an acoustic guitar and a college degree.” USA Today: “a storyteller in the best traditions of Mellencamp and Springsteen.” Blake Shelton, Randy Travis, and Confederate Railroad have all cut his songs.

WEDNESDAY, AUGUST 19
Drivin N Cryin | RV Casino | 8 PM
Formed in Atlanta in 1985, Drivin N Cryin became one of the defining bands of the late-80s Southern rock underground — playing the 688 Club alongside R.E.M., the Black Crowes, and the Indigo Girls. Four albums on Island Records, one on Geffen. Fly Me Courageous was their breakthrough. Mystery Road named one of Paste’s 50 Best Southern Rock Albums of All Time. Darius Rucker covered Straight to Hell. Georgia Music Hall of Fame. Recently opened for The Black Crowes. Forty years in. RV Casino opens.

Steely Dead
Friday, August 14 | 8 PM

Dave Abear and Dylan Teifer had been playing in the Dead world for years — Abear touring with Melvin Seals and the Jerry Garcia Band, Teifer deep in the Colorado jam scene — when they started asking a genuinely strange question: what happens when you fuse the Grateful Dead’s free-flowing improvisation with Steely Dan’s meticulous studio precision?

Steely Dead formed in 2019. The premise is simple and the ex*****on is not. They play both catalogs exclusively — no Garcia side projects, no Steely Dan deep cuts from the wrong era — and create original mashups in the segues. “Truckin’” into “Black Friday” back into “Truckin’.” “Dealin’ in the Years.” Donald Fagen, in a 2021 Rolling Stone interview, said he and Walter Becker both liked the Grateful Dead’s music and suggested Steely Dan might have adopted a more improvisational style if their own approach hadn’t worked. Steely Dead took that idea and ran with it.

Haley Spence Brown and Jack Hackett met at USC studying comedy. On a whim, they wrote a country song. They couldn’t stop. Southern transplants who bonded over a love-hate relationship with country music — satirizing its tropes while playing it for real. Their debut album All Hat No Cattle, produced by two-time Grammy nominee Eric Corne, charted #1 on the Roots Music Report and #21 on the Americana album charts. Their fifth ever show was at the Ryman Auditorium, opening for Jim Jefferies. Over 20 million social media views. “This Town Sucks” won Outstanding Songwriting at the 2023 Great American Song Contest.
