This past weekend was one for the record books as several Colorado Springs Striders athletes etched their names into club history!

👏 Trenton set THREE new club records:
💥 Shot Put – 32’ 2”
💥 Javelin – 99’ 1”
💥 Discus – 95’ 7”

👏 Blake added TWO new club records:
💥 Shot Put – 28’ 0”
💥 Javelin – 93’ 2”

👏 Sloane broke the club record in:
💥 Javelin – 24’ 3.4” at the USATF State Championships

👏 Our 8 & Under Girls 4x100 Relay Team also set a new club record!
🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️🏃‍♀️ Sloane, Bralynne, Brighton, and Taylor combined for an outstanding performance and now hold the Striders record in the event!

🏃‍♂️🔥 Another great night on the track for the Colorado Springs Striders! 🔥🏃‍♀️

Our athletes traveled north yesterday to compete in the Denver Twilight Series and once again represented the Striders with pride, determination, and sportsmanship.

What makes this team special isn’t just the medals or fast times—it’s the commitment to improvement, the support athletes show one another, and the confidence they build every time they step onto the track.

The Colorado Springs Striders are proud to recognize Blake Sibert for earning a Top 10 National Ranking in the Youth Boys 10U Shot Put!

Blake is currently ranked #7 in the nation with a throw of 8.53m (28’0”), placing him among the best young throwers in the country. This achievement is a testament to his hard work, dedication, and commitment to improving every day.

To be recognized on a national stage at just 10 years old is an incredible accomplishment, and we couldn’t be more proud of the effort Blake puts in both at practice and in competition.

👏 Congratulations, Blake! Keep working hard, keep chasing your goals, and keep making the Striders family proud!

The past two meets have been a tremendous showcase of the hard work, dedication, and heart that our Colorado Springs Striders athletes bring to the track and field every day.

Our athletes have earned medals, achieved personal records, qualified for upcoming championships, and stepped outside their comfort zones to compete in new events. Striders athletes represented our club with pride and determination. What makes us most proud isn’t just the medals or podium finishes—it’s the growth we’ve seen. Athletes supporting teammates, overcoming challenges, pushing through tough races, and celebrating each other’s successes embodies what being a Strider is all about.

A huge thank you goes out to our coaches, officials, volunteers, and families who continue to make these opportunities possible. Your time, encouragement, and commitment help our athletes reach new heights every week.
