It's Batizado Time! Capoeira Pé da Serra will host their 45th semi-annual batizado event August 28-29th in Colorado Springs.

We're pleased to welcome special guest instructors Contramestre Martell and Instrutor Lagosta for workshops on Friday evening and Saturday morning.

The batizado ceremony starts at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, August 29th at Springs Dance West: 4175 Centennial Blvd, 80907.

As we move into 2026, we're challenging you to think about your intentions for the coming year and to get creative by summing up those goals in ONE WORD.

Stop by the desk at the studio this month and grab the supplies to make yourself a charm to remind you of your intentions and carry it with you as a reminder.

And so, for the month of January, we are offering a special to any PREVIOUSLY ENROLLED students who wish to come back to capoeira. If you re-enroll by JANUARY 31, we will WAIVE your down payment (~$300), give you the first month of tuition FREE (~$200), and help you to update your kit FREE of charge (~$100) for a total savings of ~$600!! The real power of capoeira lies in the communities it builds.

When we were notified that donations to this year's toy drive for the Children's Hospital were unusually low, we knew that our community could help.
