Congrats on earning your Jiu-Jitsu Blue belt. William is one of if not the hardest worker in our academy and it shows every time he steps on the mat or in the cage. I’m excited to see what the future holds for him. 📈🥋

Proud to promote as my first male Blackbelt. I remember Robby starting as a white belt just like everyone else. The first time I really noticed him I was thinking “this guy doesn’t understand the techniques” until I realized his training partner was resisting full power not allowing him to drill. 😂

After a few months Robby started to pick up Jiu-Jitsu at a very fast rate and wanted to compete. From that day on he excelled on the competition scene at white, blue and purple belt. He had the most competition matches in our academies history at one point until an injury set him back. I was worried he might give up Jiu-Jitsu which would be a shame but he didn’t. Even in that injury time period he showed up everyday and lifted weights. That’s called discipline and continually finding a way to better yourself.

However this Blackbelt isn’t about his competition accolades. This belt is about his perseverance, consistency and discipline. A Blackbelt of course symbolizes technical proficiency but it’s also a sign of leadership and maturity in the art. Congrats on this milestone achievement . I can’t think of anyone who deserves it more. 🥋
