What a special afternoon this past weekend celebrating the retirement of Bob & Kristen Jenkyns and an incredible 89 combined years dedicated to the sport of swimming. 🏊‍♂️

From coaching and mentoring to shaping generations of swimmers, their impact reaches far beyond one team or one pool. We’re incredibly grateful for the years they shared with the Rapids family and for the lasting mark they’ve made on our swimming community.

Thank you to everyone who came out to celebrate, share memories, and send Bob & Kristen into retirement with lots of love!

Ryder put together 5 personal bests, 2 new Rapids team records, and a Top-16 finish in the 100 Back. 💪

Max delivered a huge 13th-place finish in the 50 Breast, dropping a personal best and earning a NEW FUTURES CUT! 🚀

Our Rapids boys brought the fire to State.🔥🔥

From a pair of State Champions to relay team records, podium finishes, personal bests, and countless top-20 swims, this group delivered an unforgettable championship weekend.

They raced with confidence, pushed each other to new heights, and proved that success is built one practice, one race, and one teammate at a time.

From first-time state swimmers to medalists, record breakers, and lifelong memories, this championship weekend was about so much more than the results. It was about teammates lifting each other up, coaches who have poured their hearts into generations of swimmers, and a team that continues to grow stronger together.

We’re incredibly proud of every Rapid who stepped on the blocks this weekend.
