Five University of Nebraska High School graduates and former students competed for the U.S. Olympic Men's Ice Hockey Team at the 2026 Olympic Winter Games in Milan, Italy, and helped bring home the gold medal!

UNHS graduates Brock Faber (’20) and Jake Sanderson (’20), along with former students Auston Matthews, Tage Thompson, and Jake Oettinger, continue to demonstrate what dedication and determination can achieve. We are proud to celebrate their success on the world stage.
