Good class today...little warm, but we beat the downpour. Next class will be the last weekend of September. I'm going to run a sale this fall and winter. $80 for the 8 hour class, $50 for the 2 hour refresher. Get armed, get trained and get more dangerous than the lunatics. Warriors don't all wear uniforms. They are people who DO. Surround yourself with people who appreciate actions rather than words. Warriors DO. Cowards TALK. Judge people on their actions, not their words. Inarticulate heroes are better people than smooth talking sociopaths. It you don't understand how this is self-defence, you WILL BE a victim!

Active Shooter Defense Concepts (Please Steal)
1. It's an ambush. There are three kinds of ambushes in this realm: Near, Far or Sniper
2. Near Ambush in the concealed carry context is within 10 yards, because we don't carry frag grenades. But the drill is essentially the same. Draw, engage, attack! Move Forward! Make him retreat.
3. Far Ambush is greater than 10 yards and you can locate the shooter. The most common kind of Active Shooting. At this distance, you will probably have to maneuver to get a clean shot. Cover stops bullets, concealment hides your movement. Get to the distance where you are 100% with the tool you have. Recognize a snub noze revolver won't do what a 10mm Delta Elite can do at 30 yards. Move!
3. Snipers. Think Las Vegas. There is nothing a concealed carrier can do in this situation. Use cover and concealment to break contact and MOVE.
4. Movement is the key.
