🚨 This weekend, two simultaneous rescue incidents took place at North Cheyenne Cañon Park and the Manitou Incline.
A huge thank you to El Paso County Search and Rescue and all partner agencies who responded quickly and worked together to help those in need. Your dedication and teamwork make our community safer every day. 👏
With hot, dry weather continuing this week, please help keep your hike safe:
💧 Bring plenty of water.
🌅 Plan your hike during cooler parts of the day—and always stay within park hours.
☀️ Wear sun protection.
📱 Tell someone your plans.
⚠️ Know your limits and turn around if you’re not feeling well.
