Did someone hit fast forward?! Watch our crew safely remove a beetle-killed pine tree in Green Mountain Falls, Colorado. Dead and declining pines can become hazardous over time, especially in mountain communities where wind, snow, and wildfire risk are common concerns.

This tree is a great reminder of why stakes and straps shouldn't stay on forever! Most newly planted trees only need support for about a year. After that, straps can begin to girdle the trunk and stakes can limit proper development. If your tree can stand on its own, it's probably time to remove the training wheels.

Colorado said no fireworks, so here's the next best thing. πŸŽ‡πŸŒ³

Our crews may not be lighting up the night sky tonight, but they're definitely spending plenty of time in it, keeping our communities' trees safe and healthy.

Happy Fourth of July weekend, and please celebrate safely!

Another stump down and one cleaner landscape! Stump grinding is a great way to improve curb appeal, eliminate tripping hazards, and reclaim valuable yard space.

Not all bugs are bad! Our team recently found cactus lady beetle larvae on a hawthorn tree. While they may not look like the ladybugs we're familiar with, these beneficial insects help control tree pests like scale and aphids. Have you ever seen lady beetle larvae before?

This tree was growing a little too close to our customers Airbnb in Green Mountain Falls, and they were nervous that it could potentially fall when guests were visiting. They called our A team to get this tree taken down safely and efficiently giving them peace of mind for their upcoming busy season! 🌲

πŸͺ² Look what our Plant Health Care team found on a recent visit! This little guy is a Red Turpentine Beetle and that reddish sawdust-like material at the base of the trunk is a telltale sign of their activity. These beetles tend to go after trees that are already stressed from drought, root damage, or nearby construction. Seeing them doesn't always mean the worst, but it is a sign the tree needs some attention. With warmer weather picking up here in Colorado, now's a great time to get your trees checked out. 🌲
